Aria Pro II Paul Brett PB-30-12
As per the 6 string version, also advertised, this guitar was manufactured between 1976-1981 in Japan and was heralded by ‘Guitarist’ magazine as one of the best acoustic guitar models to come out of the Aria factory at the time. It’s a very well built guitar, hand made from all solid woods, and it sounds fantastic. Check out that stunning flamed mahogany neck!
It shares the same appointments as it’s 6 string sibling, with the spec suggested by the great guitarist Paul Brett himself. It’s based on a classic combination of sitka spruce top with scalloped bracing & mahogany back and sides, but it’s jazzed up with solid maple body, fingerboard & headstock bindings with a marquetry purfling. It also has maple position markers on a lovely, deep, chocolatey rosewood fingerboard.
It plays great as is, with some saddle left to reduce the action if required in the future and it’s in fantastic condition for it’s age, with only a few small scratches and dings here and a tiny bit of wear to the board around the 1st fret.
It travels in a lovely, protective, soft felt lined hardcase.
