Boucher BG-42T-G
Brand new Boucher BG-42T-G all torrefied dreadnought.
We’ve been waiting for this one to come in for a while now and we’re pleased to say it’s not disappointed us. A fantastic Bluegrass Goose BG-42T-G with a torrefied Brazilian mahogany back and sides and a torrefied 4A Adirondack spruce ‘Gold-Touch’ pack. If another model of theirs interests you, please contact us to place a custom order.
The BG series is crafted and engineered to meet the very high requirements of bluegrass guitarists performing live or in the recording studio. The guitar offer a large presence on stage due to the method of construction and choices of woods. The BG-42T-G is as “present” as all other bluegrass instruments whether you are strumming or soloing, but really can offer it’s hand to any type of playing. The torrefied Brazilian mahogany is a new advancement in back and sides wood by Boucher and adds an extra dimension to what is already a superb combination of tonewoods.
Robin Boucher personally selects Adirondack red spruce for the bracing and soundboard in order to give the instrument its special bluegrass sonority. Rich low ends, driving mids and beefy highs describe the sound spectrum of our Bluegrass Goose. This guitar is incredibly easy to play due to the elevated soundboard radius and the unique profile of the neck which will perfectly match the hand of the guitarist.
It really is a fantastic dreadnought that needs to be experienced to be believed. It travels in it’s Boucher tweed Hardshell Case.
