Huss & Dalton TD-R Custom
Brand new Huss & Dalton TD-R Traditional dreadnought with thermo cured master grade Adirondack spruce top and a wonderful straight grained Guatemalan rosewood back and sides.
Having high expectations upon trying this guitar, we can safely say that it more than lived up to them. It’s an absolute powerhouse of a dreadnought! A Collings style build quality combined with a Martin chesty bass and a modern top end reminiscent of other top boutique brands such as Santa Cruz, Bourgeois & Boucher, this guitar delivers punch and tone in spades. The tone wood upgrades are pick of the bunch, with the master grade top offering supreme resonance and the Guatemalan rosewood being the new contender to the Brazilian throne offering the tight low end and glassy top end.
It’s from the traditional range, so it’s styled on the classic pre war Martin flattops, but with little boutique details such as the side purflings, satin finish neck and compensated long belly saddle. It’s understated, but classy looking and it feels great underhand. This really is one of the finest dreadnoughts you will play.
It travels in it’s tweed H&D licensed TKL hardcase with Boveda humidification packs.
