2019 Lowden 050 Mastergrade African Blackwood with Mastergrade Sinker Redwood top and Tasmanian Blackwood bevel.
Here is an absolutely stunning top of the range Lowden O shape in the highly desirable and also George Lowden’s favourite combination of African Blackwood with Sinker Redwood top combination. This guitar sounds incredible as expected and plays with ease.
African Blackwood is a stunning tonewood offering the clearest chiming highs and tight deep lows. This, combined with the warmth of the stunning mastergrade Sinker Redwood top, makes it a fantastic guitar for fingerpicking and gives power to strummed chords and plectrum work. It really is an absolute dream guitar, with the bevel providing supreme comfort for the picking hand. It also looks particularly cool with the cosmno black finish Gotoh 510 tuners.
It’s stage ready with a top of the range LR Baggs session VTC pickup system and it’s in very good condition with only a few noticeable playwear marks. It travels in it’s luxury Lowden branded Ameritage hardcase with all certificates of provenance etc.
