1999 Martin HD-28VS with K&K pickup in superb condition.
Produced between 1995 & 2005 this is a 12 fret slotted headstock version of the HD28 Vintage Series and it is a mighty sounding dreadnought with a sitka spruce top with ageing toner, east Indian rosewood back and sides and forward shifted scalloped x-bracing.
These don’t come up for sale very often and that’s for good reason. They’re absolutely superb and this one is in nigh on mint condition with loads of saddle left. The slotted headstock and 12 fret design give it even more ooomph in the volume and tone to a normal HD28V, but it still offers some wonderful sweetness when fingerpicked. It’s a very versatile dreadnought and is a delight to play.
It comes stage ready with a K&K Pure Mini pickup installed and travels in it’s luxury 5 ply TKL hard case.
