2011 Martin Custom Shop D-21 Special with Adirondack Spruce and east Indian rosewood back & sides.

A special order run by Willcutt guitars with personally selected premium tonewoods, this guitar is incredible. This one has all the upgrades added to create a guitar with an exquisite tone. With full hide glue construction and forward shifted ‘Golden Era’ scalloped adirondack bracing it’s exudes eveything we love about a great Martin dreadnought.

Handmade in the prestigious Martin custom shop, it’s got some fantastic appointments on top of it’s pre war build spec. These include side purflings, herringbone rosette, grained ivoroid binding, waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons and a vintage toner finish. Visually, Willcutt Guitars picked the most visually striking examples of red spruce & rosewood to make the bodies of these guitars really stand out, with this one having some wonderful subtle bear clawing details to the top alongside a choice set of rosewood.

This guitar is in excellent condition with very little playwear to mention for it’s almost 15 years of existence. It’s been very well looked after and It travels in it’s luxury 5ply Martin licensed TKL hard case, also in excellent condition
