2018 Martin Custom Shop D-41M with Adirondack Spruce and Madagascar rosewood back & sides.
An incredibly limited release and, from what we can gather, only available in the european market is this custom shop version of the venerable D-41. It has personally selected premium tonewoods by Martin’s head of sales Carmen Cortez and this comprises of an Adirondack spruce top and a Madagascar rosewood back and sides. This guitar is incredible and has all the 41 upgrades added to create a guitar with an exquisite tone and feel. With forward shifted scalloped adirondack bracing it exudes everything we love about a great Martin dreadnought.
Carmen Cortez has picked the finest examples of red spruce & madagascar rosewood to make the bodies of these guitars really stand out both tonally and visually
This guitar is in excellent condition, with very little playwear to mention. The only real noticeable thing is a professional repair to the binding on the back waists has been made. This is a very common and mostly unavoidable thing with Martin guitars. It’s been very well looked after and, colour wise, on the Adirondack looks like it’s barely left the case. It travels in it’s luxury 5ply Martin licensed TKL hard case, also in excellent condition and it comes with all it’s relevant custom shop certificates and booklet.
