Pre-owned 2019 Prohaszka custom small bodied build with European spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides.
Another gem from the master luthier Balázs Prohaszka. This is a stunning small bodied 14 fret to body build, along the size of an Avalon or Lowden S, and is constructed from the finest tonewoods. It’s a fantastically built guitar and is surrounded with touches to make it a truly unique custom build. The dark ebony bindings really accentuate the wonderful European spruce top Balázs has chosen and it’s back and sides are simply jaw dropping. An abalone rosette and top trim add a touch of elegance and class to an already fine looking instrument and it’s 5 piece neck made from ebony and mahogany feels great underhand.
Sonically, it’s a very rich sounding guitar which would lend itself fantastically well for fingerstyle or light strumming/flatpicking. It’s wonderfully balanced and the sound just jumps out of the soundhole with a clarity and precision. Brazilian rosewood is referred to as the holy grail of back and sides tonewoods and that, combined with this high grade European spruce top, delivers a highly enjoyable playing and listening experience.

The guitar is in excellent pre-owned condition, with only a couple of miniscule indentations to the lacuqer finish by the bridge area and it travels in a Hiscox Lifelite II hard case with it’s relevant CITES documentation.
