Prohaszka Sunburst Parlour
Brand new 2025 Prohaszka Sunburst Parlour.
Fresh out of the workshop of the genius master luthier Balázs Prohaszka is this wonderful little guitar. With a slight nod in looks to the classic and hugely revered pre war Gibson L-00, this is a fine instrument and offers a huge sound for such a small stature.
It’s a fantastically built guitar and is surrounded with genius touches to make it a truly unique custom build. The flamed Anigre bindings really accentuate the wonderful chocolatey/coffee sunburst finish Balázs has applied and little details like the Hornbeam bridge with aged bone bridge pins really stand out as a modern design with a vintage feel.
Sonically, it’s a super light airy sounding guitar but with a surprisingly deep bass for it’s body size. It’s wonderfully balanced and would lend itself excellently for fingerstyle work or light strumming. Balázs always turns out fine instruments and is very much ‘Ireland’s best kept secret’ when it comes to modern day boutique luthiery. We suggest you come and try it out to find out for yourself!
